Recently I read the book "Look Again" by Lisa Scottoline. In this book reporter Ellen Gleeson goes out to get the mail and finds a 'Have You Seen This Child' flyer and almost throws it away. But then something makes her stop and look again at the flyer and her heart stops. The child in the flyer is almost identical to her adopted son, Will. Her instinct is telling her to ignore it, that her adoption was lawful, but she just can't shake the feeling that maybe Will belongs to someone else. She starts to investigate and digs up the truth. The truth that was never supposed to be discovered. When she digs too deep she puts not only her life in danger, but that of the son she loves as well.
My question is if you came across a missing child's photo and it looked like your child, what would you do? Would you ignore it or would you try to find out the truth, knowing that there is the chance you could lose your child?
